Doritos or corn chips 10- 12 Rajma | Red kidney beans 1/4 cup Sweet corn kernels 3 tblsp Capsicum (red and green) 1 tblsp each Potato 1/4 portion Olives 4 Onion 1 Tomato 1/2 Sweet chutney 2 tsp Green chutney 2 tsp Chaat masala 1/4 tsp Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tsp Sev for garnishing

Method:

  • Cook the over night soaked rajma, potato and sweet corn in a pressure cooker.
  • Drain the water and keep it aside.
  • Chop the onion,capsicum and tomato finely.
  • Cut the olives into circles. Cut the potato into small cubes.
  • In a wide bowl add the red kidney beans, potato, sweet corn, olives, capsicum, onion and tomato into it.
  • Add the green chutney, sweet chutney, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder.
  • Mix well evenly.
  • Slightly crush the Doritos and add it to the bowl.
  • Gently mix it.
  • Add it to the serving plate and garnish with sev.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes:

  1. No need to add salt, as chutneys, chaat masala and Doritos has salt in it.
  2. Instead of the Indian style chutney you can add tomato ketchup and chilli sauce.
  3. Doritos can be replaced with potato chips too.
  4. Even you can make with Thattai or murukku too.
  5. You can skip chaat masala and cumin powder and add chili flakes and oregano powder.
  6. You can use black bean too instead of red kidney beans.
  7. Thinly sliced jalapenos can be added.
  8. A dollop of sour cream or thick yogurt can be used for garnishing instead of sev.
  9. You can add few pomegranate too.
