Sweet pachadi recipe - 1

Method

  • Chop the fruits into small cubes. Slice the banana into roundels.
  • In a pan add sugar and add 1/2 cup of water. I used brown sugar.
  • Boil the sugar till it reaches a one-string consistency.
  • Once the consistency reaches, switch off the flame.

  • Add the cut fruits to this when the syrup is hot. Add cardamom powder to this(if adding)
  • Add the cashew nuts to this need to roast the cashew nuts in ghee. Add it raw.

  • If adding raisins and dates add now.
  • Cover it and keep it aside for an hour or 2 hours.
  • Serve it along with a traditional South Indian meal.
  • You can have this as a dessert too.
  • This mixed fruit pachadi can be served with Vanilla ice cream too.

Kalyana Sweet pachadi

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mixed Fruits*
  • 1/2 cup Sugar I used Raw sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • Cardamom powder a pinch optional
  • *I used Pineapple seedless grapes, apples and bananas. You can use mango, dates and raisins too.
