Mint leaves 1/3 cup Coriander leaves 1/2 cup Chaat masala 1 tsp Amchoor powder 1 tsp Cumin powder 2 tsp Lemon juice 1 tblsp Sugar 3 tblsp Ginger a small piece Water 1 and 1/4 cup Plain Soda 1 and 1/2 cups Ice cubes few Boondi for garnishing (optional)
Method :
- In a mixie grind the coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, chaat masala, amchoor powder, cumin powder and sugar.
- Add little water while grinding.

- Add the lemon juice to this and add 1 and 1/4 cup of water.
- Strain this mixture.
- Add the soda water to this. I used plain soda. Add soda just before serving.

- In case you are adding chilled soda, skip adding ice cubes.
- Jaljeera soda is ready now.
- Serve this by garnishing it with boondis.
- Always add soda just before serving the jal jeera soda.
- You can add sprite to this instead of soda, in that case skip the sugar.
- This jal jeera soda can be used as pani puri water too.
- You can replace sugar with Jaggery too. I used Raw sugar for making this jal jeera soda.
