You can make this fruit custard with any flavour of custard powder, like mango, butterscotch, banana or strawberry.   • In a saucepan add ¬Ω litre of milk.

  • Keep in medium flame.

  • In a bowl, add the custard powder and add 3 tbsp of raw milk.
  • Mix well without any lumps.

  • Add this to the custard powder milk to the saucepan.
  • Mix well
  • Keep stirring continuously.
  • Do not keep the flame high as it will get burnt.
  • It will get slightly thickened.
  • Switch off the flame.

  • Add the sugar to this.
  • Transfer this to a wide bowl.

  • Allow this to cool completely.
  • Keep this inside the fridge for 4-5 hours.

  • Add the cut fruits to this just before serving. Keep the fruits also chilled.
  • Serve chilled.

  1. You can add strawberries or dry fruits to the custard.
  2. Do not add more custard powder than mentioned, or else it will form a thick layer on the top.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of milk
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp custard powder
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cups mixed fruits I used mango, apple, grapes, and pomegranate

Instructions

  • In a saucepan add ½ liter of milk.
  • Keep in medium flame.
  • In a bowl, add the custard powder and add 3 tbsp of raw milk.
  • Mix well without any lumps.
  • Add the custard powder milk to the saucepan.
  • Mix well
  • Keep stirring continuously.
  • Do not keep the flame high as it will get burnt.
  • It will get slightly thickened.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Add the sugar to this.
  • Transfer this to a wide bowl.
  • Allow this to cool completely.
  • Keep this inside the fridge for 4-5 hours.
  • Add the cut fruits to this just before serving. Keep the fruits also chilled.
  • Serve chilled.
