
Idli 6 Yogurt 1 cup Milk 2 tblsp Sweet Chutney to taste Green chutney to taste Roasted jeera powder 2-3 pinches Red chili powder 1/4 tsp Chaat masala 2 pinches Sev or boondi few (garnishing) Coriander leaves few
Method:
- Make idlis and keep it ready. Cut them into bite size pieces.
- If using left over mini idlis use that as such.
- Ensure that the idlis are soft.
- Add the yogurt and milk in a wide bowl.
- Beat the mixture well. Add salt to this and mix well.
- Arrange the idlis on a wide flat bowl.
- Pour the yogurt mixture on this.
- Gently coat the yogurt mixture evenly on the idlis.
- sprinkle sweet chutney and green chutney as per your taste.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, jeera powder and red chili powder.
- Add a lavish sprinkle of sev or boondi and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Dahi idli is ready to serve.
- You can garnish with pomegranate seeds too.
- Add the chutneys as per your taste.
